100% of the race proceeds benefit Hosparus patients and families
Hosparus, a non-profit hospice care provider, created this fun, night-time 5k for every member of the family to enjoy. So come as you are! Our event is all about people of different speeds, ages, shapes, and sizes. Get funky with the energized music and electrify yourself with our glow avenues. Wear your favorite costume when you come out to support our wonderful mission!
Why are there five race locations?
Hosparus supports patients and families in 33 counties surrounding our five race locations. We want everyone to experience this wild and crazy glow in the dark party! To learn more about Hosparus, visit www.hosparus.org.
Each location will have it’s own unique LUNAR EXPO where sponsors and vendors will be able to showcase their business, products, and services. Please contact Karin if you are interested in joining the expo at firstname.lastname@example.org
After you finish the 5k…YOU will make YOUR way into the LUNAR GLOW, which is going to be the best part! Make sure that you grab your friends and family and dance the night away to today’s hits (maybe some good oldies too) with the best lazer and light show around! You won’t want to miss this as we finish getting our GLOW on!
For more than 35 years, Hosparus has been the region’s leading hospice care provider, serving nearly 6,000 patients per year. We do this for a very simple reason – to help people with compassion and care at this important milestone in life.
How will Hosparus use the money raised at the LUNAR 5k?
100% of your registration fee will support Hosparus care for patients and families, regardless of their ability to pay. In addition, funds raised will benefit Hosparus’ pediatric patients, our Kourageous Kids, and the Grief Counseling Center. Hosparus provides bereavement care to Hosparus families at no charge for 13 months after the death. We also provide Grief Relief Workshops at no charge to children in the schools.
